More than one big display
Oxford Round Table’s long-running fundraiser starts well before the main fireworks. Arrive from 4:30pm for Hebborns funfair, food and drink stalls and live entertainment. A low-noise display fires first at 6:30pm, followed by the main fireworks at 7:15pm.

A smaller low-noise fireworks display, returning for visitors who prefer a gentler experience.
Main fireworks
The headline display is planned to fire at 7:15pm, subject to weather and safe entry of the crowd.

Food, drink and entertainment continue, with an optional ticketed silent-disco afterparty.

Online tickets are normally cheaper than paying at the gate. The organiser advertises a 20% September discount using code ICANTWAIT, reducing to 10% in October. Check the official booking page before purchasing.

Thornhill Park and Ride is approximately 15 minutes away, with extra direct fireworks buses advertised by the organiser. Look for the Park and Ride option when booking.
Train and city centre
South Park is roughly a 30-minute walk from Oxford railway station. Other park-and-ride sites connect into the city, followed by a walk to the park.
Accessibility
The organiser recommends the Morrell Avenue entrance for visitors with mobility requirements. Eligible carers can request an entry QR code after the attendee’s ticket is purchased.
Before you go
Prepare for a November field
- Wear warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy shoes; the park can become muddy.
- Bring some cash because there is no cash machine, although many vendors accept cards.
- Only assistance dogs are permitted.
- Do not bring fireworks, sparklers, alcohol, glass or professional camera equipment.
- Visitors aged 18 or under must be accompanied by an adult.
